It’s the FINAL DAY of Gifts in a Tin week! In preparation for Christmas and simple and fun gift giving, I’m putting together some easy gift basket ideas for you. In case you missed Thurday’s Date Night in a Tin, here it is. Today’s gift basket idea? Craft Night in a Tin!
In this gift basket, I’ve used:
- a large tin basket
- burlap ribbon (for the wrapper around the tin)
- twine string
- a knitting and sewing instructional booklet
- a couple of balls of yarn
- knitting needles
- crochet hook
- spool of lace
- package of tassels (similar)
- Coca-Cola in glass bottle
- chocolate
What are some other things you could include in a gift tin like this? What about a movie or a little sewing kit?

I used a piece of pleated burlap ribbon to tie around my tin, but you could also use scrapbook paper or a scrap piece of fabric. I punched small holes in the tops of the round tags, and tied them around the tin handle with twine.
This gift in a tin would be a fun gift for a crafty friend or family member.
Thank you so much for coming along with me this week as I try out some fun Gifts in a Tin ideas! I hope they were helpful and inspired you as you prepare for Christmas giving this year.

Clever ideas! Many people have fur babies. Baskets that encourage pet parents to spend time with their fur baby might be another good one. I think this year, I’d like to put together pup gift baskets for pups waiting to be adopted. ? It could be a basket that goes home with them to their new home. Thank you so much for all of the DIY gift basket ideas
