One of my most favourite DIYs ever is covering black out shades / blinds with fabric! It’s such an easy way to make a practical window covering look so much prettier. Now that it’s summertime, kids (and adults!) need their rooms darker to sleep, so here’s a fabulous DIY solution.
I’m also giving you a little video peek into one of our most recent projects – turning our old “garage house” into a cute little guest house for our summer guests. Have a look:

Absolutely BRILLIANT! I never would have thought to try this – SUCH a great way to dress up a plain old roller blind!
I love this. I wanted to do this but never looked it up. The blind and bedroom are beautiful! Someone posted a link to your website on Facebook in answer to a question about baby shoes. So glad they did and I found your wonderful site
Thanks so much, Carol! 🙂
Can you tell me your wall color. It’s exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks you.
Of course we can help you with the wall colour 🙂
I attached the link that includes all the paint colours in Christina’s home 🙂

Wow – the room is beautiful! And I’m so thankful for this roller curtain idea, which I’m thinking of doing for my bay window. Can you tell me where you found the roller curtain? The ones I’m finding online are pretty pricey, especially if I’m going to just cover them up… and I need 5! Thanks so much!
Check Walmart or your local hardware store 🙂

I would like to get the pattern. Is it available?
