With our Thanksgiving celebration plans looking a little smaller and simpler this year, I still want to make our table and kitchen feel special for the holiday. Here’s how I’m decorating our breakfast nook area for Thanksgiving with pumpkins, natural accents, and pops of orange and green.

This weekend is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, and despite the unique year we’ve had we’re still celebrating! It might just be our immediate family and grandparents, but that doesn’t mean we can’t decorate for the day.
Thanksgiving Table Setting
For our breakfast nook table Thanksgiving setting, I’m layering a few pumpkins over my DIY macrame table runner.
These orange and white striped dish cloths from Amazon make an inexpensive napkin for each place setting. I’m not a huge fan of orange, but I do love this subtle stripe for the season!
Simple white plates, cutlery and glassware finish off the look.
Fall Kitchen Decor
The simple decor theme continues in our kitchen nearby with branches from the yard on the island, more pumpkins, and little pops of copper and orange.
I made this vinyl “pumpkin spice everything” decal with my Cricut, and it’s a simple way to make an old round cutting board festive for Fall!
Watch my YouTube video below to see how I made this Fall decal and decorated our breakfast nook and kitchen for the season:
Dish and hand soaps that smell like Fall are also a great way to make a kitchen feel cozy and seasonal, and I love this apple scented one from Mrs. Meyer’s.
We’re looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend with our family and remembering every single blessing we have. Even though this year has been hard, we have so much to be thankful for.
Now tell me: Are you decorating for Thankgiving this year despite how you might be celebrating?
