Need some kitchen decorating ideas for Christmas? I’ve got you covered! Come see how I decorated our kitchen for the Holiday season this year, and get budget-friendly inspiration for your own kitchen Christmas decor.
I like to keep the Holiday decorating simple in the kitchen, but it’s still fun to add some festive touches! This year, I included a bit of red and green to give our kitchen a classic Christmas look. Come see my Christmas kitchen decor details!
A simple hot chocolate station
Kitchen Christmas decor doesn’t have to be complex or fancy, and that’s what I love about this little hot chocolate station! All I’ve done here is placed a tray on the kitchen island, and added some hot chocolate mix, chocolate, spoons, sprinkles and mugs to the tray. A simple hot chocolate station like this looks festive, but it’s practical and your guests (and/or kids!) will love it.
Over-the-sink decor
For my kitchen sink, I always love to hang a garland over the window. I use Command hooks, and a mix of a faux cedar and faux eucalyptus garland for a textured look. Pretty cutting boards and a candle also add some Holiday sparkle to the sink area.
Cookie jar snow globe
If you have a clear glass cookie jar, turn it into a pretty snow globe for your kitchen countertop! To make one, pour some epsom salts into the cookie jar, and then add a small Christmas house, some bottle brush trees, and some battery operated twinkle lights. This will add sparkle to your kitchen Christmas decor, and it’s so easy to create.
A festive runner
It’s amazing how a Christmas-y runner rug can instantly make a space feel completely festive! This red & green plaid runner is from Ruggable, and you can take the top layer off an throw it in the clothes washer. It’s perfect for a busy, messy kitchen!

Your Christmas Kitchen is to die for! I have been looking for decorating ideas because this past year I got cabinet painting done! I went for the two-toned look as well, and though it’s not the exact same this gave me some great ideas on how I can add some holiday flair to my kitchen/house. Thank you!
