Want to decorate your porch for Spring on a budget? Here are some cheerful & easy Spring porch decor ideas that look lovely and don’t cost much at all!
I gave our front porch a refresh this week, and I love how it turned out! The only thing I purchased was plants, and the rest of the items were things I had – even a fresh coat of paint for our front door! Let me share our simple front porch decor for Spring, and how you can decorate your porch on a budget this season too.

First things first? I painted our front door! It’s been a deep teal for 7 years, and since it needed a new coat of paint anyhow I thought I may as well try a new colour. This colour’s called Dreaming of the Day by Cloverdale Paint, and it’s a very soft aqua colour. I love the light, bright look and how our wreath pops on it. What do you think? Giving your door a quick coat of paint is a wonderful way to give your entry an entirely different paint on a budget.
I also made a custom house number decal with my Cricut and some black non-permanent vinyl. I think it looks great on the door!
Another wonderful way to add cheer to your Spring porch? PLANTS! I bought some annual shade-loving plants from our local greenhouses and created these simple planters.
I can’t wait to see how they look once they fill out, and I mixed them with some faux boxwood plants that I’ve had for years on either side of our front door.
Tippy likes them too!
Using what you have on hand in a fresh, new way is another easy way to decorate your Spring porch this season. I used some old rainboots as decor on our porch, lanterns I’ve had for years, and moved the DIY scrap wood bench I had up in our bedroom to use here as a coffee table.
A couple pillows from the living room (I love playing musical throw pillows!) completes the looks. We’re ready to enjoy our front porch this Spring!
