Sew a Floral Fall Dress

Come see how I sewed a beautiful dress for Fall featuring a button front and pockets!
This weekend, I had the pleasure of collaborating with Lisa of Farmhouse On Boone on a sewing project! We both made the Darling Ranges dress by Megan Neilsen. (Get 20% off this pattern with the code DARLING-DIY-FARMHOUSE at checkout!)
I really enjoyed sewing this pattern – it’s quite easy to follow and it would be a great dress to try sewing if you are a beginning seamstress.
I used some fabric I found at Spoonflower that I love (I got it in the silky faille).
This will be so cute to add to my Fall wardrobe this season! I love it with tights and booties, and I also think it will look great under a blazer or jacket.
Lisa also made a fabulous version of this dress, and it looks totally different than mine. It was so neat to see our unique versions of this pattern!

Now tell me: What did you think of our dresses? Would you try to sew this pattern?

Make an Easy No Sew DIY Plaid Blanket Scarf
This is a really easy no sew plaid blanket scarf. Blanket scarves seem to be a fashion staple this Fall & Winter, and I knew I HAD to make at least one of these this year. I really like how mine turned out and the best part is that I didn’t even have to use my sewing machine!
Super cute, Christina! Love that fabric!
Thanks, Shauna!
