My 12 year old daughter is obsessed with all things “Cottagecore”. What’s Cottagecore, you ask? According to Wikipedia, Cottagecore is an aesthetic that “centres on traditional rural clothing, interior design, and crafts such as foraging, baking, and pottery”. To me, it’s really a new way to describe a vintage, rustic style.
Since my daughter loves this look so much (and let’s be honest – I LOVE anything Cottagecore too!), we’re now decorating our Christmas living room in this style. The tree will have a very natural look to it, and we’ll stick to neutral colours like greens, beiges and browns.
Today’s free printable Christmas gift tags have a Cottagecore aesthetic. They feature watercoloured images of natural and cozy elements like dried oranges, eucalyptus sprigs, candles and cinnamon sticks. With colours of green, soft orange, brown and gold, they’ll match lots of different Christmas decor and gift wrap.

To use your gift tags:
First, print this sheet of gift cards off on cardstock. Then, cut out the individual tags with scissors. Next, use a hole punch to create holes for ribbon or string. I tied some simple cotton string through my tags, but a gold satin ribbon would also look lovely! Use these to embellish your Christmas gifts, and write the recipients’ names on the back.
Finally, I can’t complete this post before mentioning these gorgeous, reusable gift boxes. Nemylu gifted these to me and I think they’re brilliant.
My favourite set? This tower set in Ombre Gold. It includes 3 reusable gift boxes each with sewn-in ribbon in shades of gold. The boxes are covered in a beautiful off-white cotton fabric, and you can use them year after year. Aren’t they lovely and practical?! Thanks, Nemylu!
